We’re nearly there!

In case you haven’t heard, we found our dream space at 236 Troutman Street in Bushwick! Construction is underway and we’re putting the final pieces together to officially open Shorts- the first ever movie theater for short film! 

We’re thrilled to officially invite you to our inaugural popcorn popping party fundraising extravaganza in support of our opening fund! 

When: Sunday, September 20th 2026 

What Time: 4:00PM-7:00PM

Where: Shorts Movie Theater 

Who: The Shorties of Bushwick 

Thanks to your support, we’ve raised nearly $420,000 to cover the space build out and our first few months of rent. The last piece of the Shorts puzzle is actually !!getting open!! And this last fundraising push will get us there!
